Scott & Kurt already know this of course, but for you flat landers, get in the habit of full power runups to determine your best RPM (screw cooling), and don't slam into full rich when landing - you can shut off the motor.

If you are leaned out to best power, you 'should' be fine on those hi mountain 6-7000 foot runways, and don't pick those place to top off the tanks if your running with the wife kids and dog.
