REFLECTOR: Aluminum Fittings

The cool looking windows also blew out on the Comet. That is when they changed to the rounded corner windows, because of the stressors in the corners.

I think that the Comet was one of the first commercial airliners flown by 
BOAC and they had a bad habit of shedding there tails due to aluminum metal 
fatigue.  There was a movie about it staring Jimmy Stewart.
