Since the plane has been sitting, I believe it would be wise to check the
brakes for pad wear, disks for bad rust or excessive wear, and and the
cylinders (both master and slave) for leakage (o-ring on piston) and confirm
that the calipers are free to move. Because the nose wheel is
free-castoring on our planes, good brakes are essential to keep from driving
out into the weeds (or into someone's airplane!). And while it is jacked-up
to check gear retraction/extension, confirm that the wheel bearings are
sound and lubricated.
If the brakes are Cleveland, parts are available from Aircraft Spruce (I
have no knowledge of other brakes).

While finding the 'missing' parts is important, I think meanwhile that it
would be wise to get it running (with good brakes of course) and do some
taxi testing. Finding problems early-on will allow you to more efficiently
get the plane in good flying condition.
