Hi Kathy,
We old ruffians do love our review of procedures that kill or nearly kill a fellow aviator flying the type or similar that we fly. Criticism keeps the blood pumping, something like that. You are quite correct, a GO AROUND was the solution. Yet once behind the POWER CURVE, there are no GO AROUNDS. It is exceedingly rare, and takes a diligent effort to get a Long EZ behind the POWER CURVE, and therefore the extended chatter on this video and event.
