REFLECTOR: Door pin sleeve treatment

What's the best (or common) method for finishing the door pin sleeves that
are embedded in the A and B pillars? I've seen some small plates on around
them so I'm guessing that there's a epoxy/cabo mix that's underneath those
plates.

Seems like clothing is going to catch on those sleeves every time you get
in and out.
