Geez, Brett, Elizabeth,

You guys are a combined treasure to the larger Velo family of builders, and flyer, and owners, and interested on-lookers. I don’t think anyone, the least bit aware of our community and how it cross pollinates, for safety and sound advice would ever think of you as a self-promoter. Your website is a gem of the highest order for so many reasons. Thank you both so much for all you do. I would be for the forum concept as an improvement over the catch-all aspects that happen some times on the Reflector. I went over and cast my vote accordingly. Thanks too to Brian for all the works he has done over the years. A friend is friend. For me, I am very indebted to you both.

Terry

Hi Brett

Please be assured I find your website EXTREMELY helpful!!!

I use it every week looking up all kinds of info from old emails to pics to upgrades .... The list goes on and on..

You do a great job at keeping it up today's and it provides a needed aspect to all if us.

I sincerely want to say "thank you" for having it and please don't let the immense knowledge it holds go anywhere.

Thank you

Kevin Baker

See, this and Hiroo's comments are the kind of negative feeling that I just honestly don't need, so why don't we table this topic?

Everyone has a login to Brian's site (tvbf.org <http://www.tvbf.org/mailman/options/reflector/> ) today, but apparently they don't realize it, even though you get a monthly email telling you what your password to that site is. And you're actually meant to maintain your own email address for that list rather than post "please change my email" to everyone. I really think adding the forum option would only be better, since it would work just the same as it does today for the email folks but offer additional functionality.

But clearly people don't see it that way and I don't want folk's to think I'm pushing my website. I don't make any money from my site, I offer it for the benefit of the community (like th! e Wiki <http://www.velocityxl.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page> ), and it seems that a significant portion of the community doesn't see it as help. I don't want to be the focus point of irritation for folks, so let's drop it, eh?
