Dave,

Disconnect the battery and check the next flight.. You might have pitted contacts on your new relay(s) which might create issues.

Also how old is the battery? 

Let us know.

There may be a few very small draws with the master off.  One, for instance is the panel clock which on my V is wired to bypass the master. I suppose in a decade it could kill the battery. I don't know of others, but think it through.
