REFLECTOR: Miata Seat recliners revisited

Chris,
On your over temp issue on taxi, I read years ago where a guy w/a rotary in a Vans derivative installed an auto windshield washer pump with a spray bar near the radiator. On long taxi holds in the heat he would toggle the pump motor to hit the radiator with H2O and that knocked his engine's H2O temp right down. Set off a steam cloud I'd imagine... A company used to sell this concept for pickups towing 5th wheel trailers to 'desert proof' a tow rig. These used the water from the RV' water tanks.
Thought I'd pass it along.
