Hi Friends, 

      John Tatro is an old friend, co-worker and roomate, EAA chapter 153 President. I've been staying at his sister's house in OSH last 15 or so years - as have some of you. His brother is former F-16 jet jock.  My heart goes out to the family.

      Any help - for an interesting cross-country compassion flight from Stuart FL to UGN or DPA (Waukegan or DuPage IL) for a great cause, give John a call or email Sharon per email below.

All,  My sister in law Sharon called me because her uncle is looking for an Angel flight from Florida to Chicago.  Her Uncle is in home hospice in Florida, and would like to come to Chicago where his family lives for his remaining days; but they are concerned about making the long drive.    Sharon told me that they had contacted Angel Flight, but that there is a long wait, so she is contacting those she knows who might be able to lend a hand.  So if you or someone you know will be flying from Florida (he is in Stuart, in the West Palm Beach area) to Chicago (his family is in McHenry) in the next week or so, and wouldn’t mind an extra passenger, please let Sharon know.
