REFLECTOR: What engine hoist?

I just looked at the manual for the 1 ton and it also lifts 500 lbs at full extension but extends 7" less. Either would work fine I think.

I have the 2 ton model from harbor freight. It is almost the same size as the one ton, folds for storage, and the main benefit of the 2 ton is it still has a 500 lb capacity when the boom is fully extended.

  I have that same one. It works just fine. The best part is that you can pull the legs and put them in the holders, then lower the boom and it only takes up a little floor space. Good product.
