I believe you're looking for the ball joints as shown here from A/S.

Between each pair of these is an aluminum rod made by the factory that has a set screw inserted at each 
end to mate with a ball joint. The threads of the set screws should have some thread locker on them to
Keep the assembly from loosening over time.

I have an older model also (not completed) but often times will go to the factory web site to reference the 
current build manual. It helps with part numbers and to see if there are improvements I should be thinking about.
