I did pretty much what Geoff did, U-bolts and all. Just make some simple
brackets. I only have a about 10 flights using it, but it is working great.

I have not heard of them (not that it means much) but do live here in
Dallas, (Irving is a suburb of Dallas).
Would be interesting if they have an address that one could stop by
instead of just a PO Box.
If anyone get's one I could run by and see if they have a brink office.

Thanks,
Kevin Baker

Hi,

I am installing my auto pilot servos and not sure how people are connecting
up the pitch servo?

I am thinking of putting the servo on top of the canard and creating a lever
arm that is connected
to the torque arm for the elevators. This seems straight forward, but was
wondering what others have
done.

Any pictures would help.

Jack

I'll keep an eye out. Got some Jeffco on the way. I think I just didn't
coat the leading edge overlap well enough.

Erik,
Are you using auto fuel? Ethanol may not be the culprit. Additives in auto
gas, specifically fuel injector cleaner....we think, has a molecule so
small in penetrates the Jeffco and softens the foam. So far, myself
included, several of us auto engine users, have had issues with our tanks
due to the use of auto fuels.
Watch for other signs in your strakes and sump tank. Just ask Bill
Mulrooney or Dave Bertram!

Hi,
I have a small amount of bubbling on the leading edge of a strake where I
must not have put enough jeffco when joining the strakes. Will have to get
in there and fix. Does anyone have a couple cups of jeffco and hardener
that's not too old I can buy? The other option is a whole gallon from the
factory. It would be going to southern CA near LA.

PS plane is flying well and out of Phase 1

Jack,

Here's a link describing how I did it. So far, the AP is working great,
but I've only tried it for one flight.
