REFLECTOR: Spin on oil filter for Franklin engine

Carl,

Having lived with a horizontally mounted spin on filter for 17 years on a
Cherokee and the mess it made every oil change, I can say unequivocally, I'm
sure glad I don't have one on my Franklin. Jim Agnew put me onto Canton
Racing. I have their canister filter, 25-106-CM-45 mounted on my firewall.
It is easy to access and has a removable top that allows changing the
element without spilling a drop of oil. In addition, the element can be
disassembled without tools for inspection.

P.S.: No engine mount or cowling mod necessary.
