REFLECTOR: Nose gear gas strut

WITH the existing gas strut in, finger pressure will over-center the
mechanism. I haven't tried it with the strut out.

I guess I don't understand what is going on?

Your saying just a finger push will overcenter it, but 50lbs from the gas
strut won't?  Does that make sense?
