Speaking of that... Scott S removes the foam in strake (in the finger strainer area) - so they can be installed lower in the tank...
½" strainers are suggested for the larger engines - I'd put them in for any setup. I happen to have an extra set if someone wants to pay shipping...

All,
I'm just days away from running out of excuses for closing out the strakes. I *think* I have everything done that could possibly make my life easier down the road. The strakes are together as per the plans / manual, screens are in, the whole thing is Jeffco'ed. I have the vents installed, fuel sending units ...
My question is this: have you all done anything else that would make life easier latter in the project that I might be missing before you closed off the strakes?
