REFLECTOR: Continental IO-360 6 cyl on XL

Kurt, Andy,

Alec is talking about the six cylinder Continental IO-360 which has more power overlap between cylinder pulses. I think the IVO would work on this. However, I must agree with Scott Derrick on this one, it sounds underpowered for an XL fuselage.

Best regards,

Ivo will not sell you a prop for a 4 cylinder Lycoming. There is history with that combination.

Hi Velo Guys,

I’m the new owner of 1995 STD RG N27TR. A month ago I purchased a XL fuselage with SE wings kit. I still don’t have a kit number. It’s going to have a Continental IO-360 210hp engine and hope to put an IVO prop to it. I would like to contact users that have this set up as to modify the cowling and engine mount.

Thank you very much for your support.
Kind regards.
Alec
