REFLECTOR: Brake fluid

DOT 5, or perhaps 7 of which I'm unsure are the only fluids compatibile with the aircraft type seals in the calipers and the automotive type seals in the master cylinders. 5606 will deteriorate the automotive seals and regular auto fluid will destroy the aircraft seals

Both "O" rings look ok just a bit less than round. 5606 is a tad thicker and might not had leaked. Another issue i have is the calipers came with nitrile "O" rings and Im not sure dot 5 is compatible.
