REFLECTOR: Exam required for FAA Repairman's Certificate?

The only test is you proving through pictures and your builder's log that you built the aircraft. (If you want to call that a test.)
Sometimes the FAA will be curious about the aircraft and ask you questions about it but that should be the extent of it.
