I love the twin concept on a Velocity, and I have not stopped buying lottery
tickets, so, If one day I win it, I would complete my order for one, but to
be honest that big tail in the back is a huge turn-off.
I guess it is needed for some reason, but I hoped they could have done like
the starship design and make it facing downwards instated of upwards

I have got to think with 250-million people in the USA, at least 20 (the
first year) will be ready, willing, and able to step into a modern personal
twin! I think the twin Velocity will not only look 'way-cool' but will
perform well too. I have talked with quite a few people over the years that
expressed sincere interest in a 'baby starship'!

Totally cool, that's for sure. As a side-line marketing geek though, I'm
wondering what the marketing research looks like on this? Is there a
sustainable market for a kit built twin? Then again maybe the same
uncertainty existed with Lancair with the IV-P and the Evolution??
I wish them the best of luck and I'm anxious to see the thing up close!

I guess I question why they went with the big center tail and associated
fuselage extension instead of just enlarging the winglets which should be
effective at keeping the aircraft travelling in a straight line in the event
of single engine operation- I am sure they thought otherwise about that, but
there is certainly a lot more wetted area back there now.
