REFLECTOR: heated pitot

That’s interesting because the electronics shop that does my transponder check told me that a heated pitot was a requirement.

While it might be a good thing to have, it in not a requirement for IFR certified aircraft to have a heated pitot.  Do not let this stop you from getting the IFR pitot static transponder check.
