REFLECTOR: Pitch trim malfunction

3)  Is anyone using this stick without relays?  Maybe I could eliminate the
relays and make it simplier.

I have the Mac G5 - same thing with a couple less buttons.  There is no need
for relays in the trim circuit with the Mac stick; the switches close the
circuit to ground when you let off; which applies braking to the motor.

 

I've not had any issues with trim operation.

Although one thing I'd like is a circuit to reduce the speed of the trim
motor when flying at high speed. The trim rate is about right for pattern
speeds; but I typically cruise 165-170 KTAS, and the trim is super
sensitive.
