It might be, also, that that piece of tubing wants two nuts... it's that's
a little off topic I suppose... but something I always seemed really good a
recognizing the instant I'd flared the other end....

Matt,
Looking again at the picture I would also suggest you check the depth of
the tube when you set it in the block (how much sticks out). This flare
looks a little shallow. Again, hard to say for sure from one picture.
