REFLECTOR: Nose Gear Doors

I've seen a nose gear door system on a Stagger EZ that utilizes a spring
that spans the nose gear doors in the open position to hold them open. When
the gear retracts, the nose gear strut picks up the spring and pulls the
doors shut as it retracts into the wheel well. The doors are hinged. Seems
like a real simple system, no hydraulics for the gear doors. Does anyone
know if this system will work with the Velocity nose gear doors? Thanks, Ron
