REFLECTOR: DYNON AHARS location again

Brett,

The SkyView system is the smallest footprint I've seen. The 10" screen
contains the cpu and is only 2.14" deep. The system uses a very small box
described as an ADAHRS which has pitot, static and AOA ports in it and
contains all magnetic and motion sensors. It is only 4.7" x 1.2" x 2.6".
The WAAS GPS receiver is smaller than a deck of cards. It has a very small
remote mounted engine sensor input module which is perfect for reducing long
wire runs in a pusher. My airplane looks empty behind the panel since I
removed that huge gold box.

I don't really know much about the skyview, but wouldn't a shelf like Andy
(picture below) and I have for our GRT's work? This keeps the pitot/static
plumbing up front, as was mentioned, but also allows for the use of the
Approach Fast Stack without ridiculously long cable bundles too. Is the
skyview box significantly different from the BMA gold box or the GRT AHRS?
