My vent is from the top (fixed gear). I moved to a Carlo Gavazzi? Optical LED prism type sensor. It works well. I lowered it as well. Only have seen it blink in moderate+ turbulence. Mounted about 2" from the top.

My other float valve was too high and at high altitude, would start to flicker because the pressure difference. Totally annoyed me. My sump holds 4 gallons, so I will get somewhere when I see it go off.

I am using the Gem Optical sensor for the sump. I have heard several times that people have used a delay relay to stop the blinking. Has any on put a Vent in the top of the sump tank to purge  out all of the air. I built my sump per the manual. and the vent tube come through  the side of the sump allowing for air to get trapped in the top of the sump. I though I would move the vent to the top of the sump tank with a hard point glued in to remove more of the air from the tank. Has  any one done this and had a success of failure here.   Ron _______________________________________________ To change your email address, visit http://www.tvbf.org/mailman/listinfo/reflector Visit the gallery! www.tvbf.org/gallery user:pw = tvbf:jamaicangoose Check new archives: www.tvbf.org/pipermail Check old archives: http://www.tvbf.org/archives/velocity/maillist.html
