REFLECTOR: Aero Composites propeller - NEWS!

Without question, Mt-Propeller products are on most Velocity aircraft with
constant speed propeller operations.
Aero Composites, Inc. propellers are making a good name for themselves in
the Velocity community - It's disappointing to learn that they are
discontinuing production of pusher blades.
Once upon a time Whirlwind propellers made pusher, constant speed pusher
propellers. I only flew one Velocity with a Whirlwind and it seemed like a
good propeller.
I believe Hoffman propellers made a pusher constant speed propeller and that
it has seen operations on a few Velocity aircraft. I do not know if they
offer a pusher prop today.
Greg Catto made a trial set of composite blades to fit a Mt- propeller hub.
David Dent tested these blades. I think Catto did this as a personal favor
and that he is not too interested in going into the c.s. propeller blade
business.
There may be other brands out there - just not aware of them at the moment.
