REFLECTOR: Grass strips in a STD

I land on grass strips on occasion.  If the grass is good with no bare spots, getting a ding is no more likely than on pavement.  Bug spatter will be much greater however.

I was wondering how many of you have used grass strips. My buddy has a place at leeward air ranch near ocalca and I was thinking of going there. He keeps his Long EZ there. I have a standard with a MT. I've had great luck, but don't want to break my streak (150 hours without a single ding).
