REFLECTOR: Top Gloss

The smooth prime is worked into the filler and any exposed glass with a
roller- the action of rolling it on fills every pore and pinhole in the
surface- I am not sure you can get the same effect by spraying, and since
the smooth prime is so bright white any void show with a lot of contrast-
after 5 or 6 coats are rolled on without sanding in between, you get on it
with the sander and run it down to a really smooth surface- it will build up
to maybe 1mm in thickness before sanding-

Juanita and I just painted the bottom of the wings with Smooth Prime.
We rolled it on, and at $180/gallon, that method really conserves the
primer.
What's the point of Smooth Prime at all if we have to shoot two coats of
epoxy sealer before our final coat? I know that Smooth Prime is high
filler, but other than that, is it required? Can one put the epoxy
sealer on top of bubble filler and go from there?

down the Top Gloss, re-applied Smooth Prime and painted directly over it
with Urethane. It's been on for several years now with no problems
