I've also had leaks and suspected excessive crankcase pressure. Part of the cause was my EI ran too advanced because 1) a bad ground caused it to advance more than it should and 2) the MAP sensor advance was too great for my 10.5/1 compression Franklin. Have you tried running on just the mag and comparing to just the EI? If the EI runs stronger, it may be too advanced.

I'm experiencing oil seeps that I think I the result of excessive
crankcase pressure.
Continentals are notorious for blowby, even when new and require a very
open vent. I installed a Andair air/oil separator which does work really
well in captureing the oil but I fear it is causing the excessive back
pressure. Anybody else have experience in this regard?
I'm also considering modifying my exhaust header similar to
http://www.allstarperformance.com/downloads/instruction_sheets//ALL34145_Crankcase_Evacuation_System.pdf
to create a crankcase evacuation system. Rutan recommended a similar
modification to the exhast system for longezs.
