Hey Terry,

What you are doing is fantastic!

What I want is several short sleeve T-Shirts in Large. I am not sure what
you are doing for color and material options but I am not really bothered as
long as they fit. If you are doing sweatshirts or hoodies, I would be
interested too but not sure what was up on that. The most important is the
short sleeve T-shirts since I live in South West Florida.

If you need shipping details:

Thank You,

Richard

Hi Folks,
Here is where we are. Above are four attached pics. The Velocity in the
blue circle is a design Alex Balic did for the Velo Symposium back a couple
of years ago. We also have a cut of the Swoopie airplane alone, without
the column of words. If you want to consider either of these please advise,
otherwise below are the default design choices.

THE CURRENT DESIGN AND OPTIONS
We have an OK from the factory to use the old sweatshirt design, so that is
the current plan. That design is for the VELOCITY logo (see attch) in the
front upper left with the letters being about 1 inch high and maybe 4.5
inches across. On the back with be the "SwoopieVAB." That is the swoopie
looking airplane with the column of repeated VELOCITY words reading down
vertically across the left wing. It is about 14" w by 11" high. You can
have this on the front or the back. The airplane will be in Red on all
shirts unless you pick a red shirt. The remaining color of the lettering
will be dictated by the color of the shirt. (two choices here black or
white) The design will be painted on and not stitched. If you want either
design on only one side of the shirt it will save you $2. Say you pick out
a golf shirt. We can skip the back. Say you want a sweatshirt with the
Swoopie airplane on the front and nothing on the back, that is doable too.
That is to say, one sided printing will save you about $2.

THE GARMENT OF YOUR CHOICE
Go to this website: http://www.catalogwearables.com/ There you can pick
out whatever you want. Don't try to order anything, just write down all the
particulars and send them to me off line. For tee shirts Alex is suggesting
we stay with the Gildan 2000 line. For the fleecewear (sweatshirts), the
recommendation is to choose the 50/50 blends of cotton and poly as opposed
to say 80/20 blends. Sorry, no 100 silk or nylon or slippery fabrics. You
cannot have the big design across the front if you have any zippers or
buttons on the front.

THE PRICE
This website is Alex's supplier. Based on how much we order (I guess) is
what he has to pay. I have nothing to do with this part. He or I will
advise each of you. There is no price information until he has a look at the
total order, but you can go to this website https://www.queensboro.com/ and
look for something comparable and that will be the aprox price less whatever
Alex sees at his end from his supplier. Add to this about $6 per order for
shipping costs to you which Alex will be doing. Quick aside, if you see
something you can't live without at Queensboro or want to go with
embroidery, please consider holding off an any individual orders, and we can
do the same group purchase over there too. It is just that Alex only can do
painting.

THE ORDERING PROCESS
 1. I know a good number of you have written to me already. Please do it
again with these details. Go over to http://www.catalogwearables.com/ and
then I need 6 de-limiters. Product code, size, color, how many you want,
about what it costs at Queensboroand what you expect to be paying (less
shipping) and last a plain text explanation of what you want on the front
and what on the back. No we cannot shrink the back design swoopie airplane
or blowup the classic Velocity name logo with the little airplane in the
letter O.

2. Send that info to me off line. terrence_miles at hotmail.com Have that
done by Nov 14.

3. I will then post a spreadsheet of who ordered what, and

4. Alex can call in and get pricing, which he or I will then post on to the
spread sheet

5. When it get it that far, check your name, send in the money, and Alex
can give us an aprox ready date and get to work.

Last I want to thank Alex for doing this. Brett and Beth for their
background help in almost matters like this, Malcolm Collier for helping me
with one of the drawings, and Jorge Bujanda for his technical drawings,
which are not a part of this go around.

I know this is a bit cumbersome for the first time through, but the great
advantage is the enormous range of choices. "Build it your way,"
right...?...Where have I heard that before?

Best regards, everyone
Terry
