REFLECTOR: Builder insurance

Yes.  I have Aircraft Under Construction insurance through Avemco.  I do not
believe they are writing new policies.  They will only "renew" if you
already have it.

I have a question regarding builders insurance.

The only insurance that I've been able to obtain is a standard policy (with
bodily injury coverage). I've explained that this is not a flying aircraft
and that there can't be passengers. But what I've been told is that this is
the only way to get insurance during the build.

Does anyone else have insurance on their Velocity during the building phase?
