5052 is also much stiffer and at 5/8 would be a real challenge to bend
after it is installed through the duct .

I would suggest 5052-0. Its stronger than 3003-0, and ever so slightly
less weight. In general, due to pressure drop considerations, I would
suggest a min. of 5/8x.035 tubing.
