REFLECTOR: Lighting circuit question

I'm starting the initial planning of my interior lighting. One of the things
that a friend suggested is an "all on" switch for the lights. He says it's
nice a night when you arrive at the plane and you want all the lights on for
loading, etc.

But if run a second (switched) power line to all the lights then even when
the "all on" switch is off, turning on one light will power all the others.
So I guess I'll need a diode on the "all on" line to each light to keep the
power from going back and powering all the other lights, right?

BTW, I'm running a 28v electrical system with LED lighting.
