REFLECTOR: Main Gear Brake Heat Shield

Jon,
I mad two basically rectangular thin aluminum plates knotched as  
needed and placed between the rotor and leg. I attached them with a  
large hose clamp through slots in the plate. I tightened them down  
over a small square of 1/8" silicon baffle material. Work fine, easy  
to clean, easy to remove. Each one is about 4 x 5 "'s. I bent them to  
force air from the front of the leg to the disc and to form a vacuum  
behind the leg for max flow ram and vacuum. 550 hrs ok so far.
