REFLECTOR: Nose cowl flap

With my plane upside down now I'm working on the nose oil cooler exit and
I've been thinking about it. On my Cessna 182, the cowl flaps are adjustable
and look just like the one on the engine cowl of the recently posted
picture.

Now when that cowl flap is open, it creates a very good low pressure area.
And being adjustable, if not needed, when closed is flush with the skin
generating almost no drag.

Has anyone tried an adjustable cowl flap for the nose oil cooler exit?
