REFLECTOR: Nose OIl cooler scoop flaw

Tim Crawford extended the front of the oil cooler scoop on his N3R. Some
years ago I e-mailed him and asked about it. I don't have the e-mails but
basically he said he just extended the scoop forward and eliminated the lip,
which is what I did. Not flying yet so no idea how effective it will be but
Tim knew his stuff.

I was the one who added VG's in front of the scoop and I also have a smooth
transition at the front. I don't know if eliminating the lip at the front
helps air flow as I did it before flight but it looks nicer. The VG's
aren't pretty but they are effective. Mine are made of 3/4" aluminum angle.
