REFLECTOR: Permission to land at an AFB

Some military airports are "dual use", that is a private aircraft can land  
there. Sometimes takes prior permission and there is a form that can be  
submitted to gain permission. One dual use is the airport at Ft. Leavenworth,  
KS. One can always call base operations to request information about the  
specific airfield.

That was my first thought, but in the A/FD there are two lines. One says  
"Military airport-- prior permission required" and another that says  
"Private-use airport-- prior permission required". I'll call them and let you  know 
what I find out.
