Quick question - what is the recommended spark plug gap for Rose Ignition with Avionics plugs? Or auto plugs, recommended brands?
Engine is IO540. Thanks.

Subject: REFLECTOR: IO-540 and MT prop for sale

I will be donating my XL to the Wings Over The Rockies Air and Space Museum as a display and will be selling the IO-540, MT prop, and engin package. The engine, IO-540, was rebuilt by Don George in 2000, has only 300 HSMO, and runs great. The prop MT Model LD178-102, was new in 2000 and has only 130 HSMO. I would like to sell as a package to also include; engine mount, oil coolers, control cables, exhausts, cooling baffles, fuel and oil lines, etc. I also will be selling the engine monitor, Micro Vision VM 1000, which includes outside air temd, alarm systems, check lists readout, and all probes and sensors. This is everything you need to complete your XL firewall back.

My XL, N243JS, is presently flying and hangered in Greeley Colorado. All logs are current and would be included. I would encourage anyone interested to a test flight and total inspection. Pricing will be competitive, and transportation can be negotiated.

Also available is an XL canopy cover, two place high efficiency oxygen system, and other misc XL spare parts. Give me a call and I can email pictures and more info……..John Saurer, jsaurer6575 at msn.com, 630-240 2462
