As suggested in a previous post, you need to compress the rubber bumper
quite a bit to take the bounce out during taxi - remove the captivator
plate, shim behind the rubber bumper as much as you can so that you can
still install the top cross bolt (you may want to shim more at the bottom of
the rubber bumper), then turn the fork 180 degrees (as per Andy M) and jack
up the wings to compress the bumper enough to re-install the captivator
plate.
