REFLECTOR: 6 lead cable

While I like the idea of wireless communication, I'm very leery of using
it for critical items. Wireless camera yeah, engine monitor, ummmmm.....

Having worked in the wireless arena for 15 years, radio packet, wifi,
bluetooth, IR, etc.... I can't even remember how many weird
interference issues I've run into.

I think Dave is right that the future is no communication wires between
the engine and the panel, but I guess I've been snake bit one to many
times to feel comfortable with current technology.

I can say that pulling all those damn wires, probably 20+ pairs in all
was a PITA, not the mention the expense and weight.

Maybe a better solution would be fiber. One wire the size of a pencil
lead could transmit engine data, cameras, etc.. And be completely
impervious to interference and chemicals.
