REFLECTOR: Fire Extinguisher

I have a small halon extinguisher mounted to the front of the seat  
bulkhead, just below the front of the pilot's seat.  That's in a  
toploader.  Also a fire bottle that discharges from nozzles on the  
firewall toward the engine.

Some of the other planes I fly have the extinguisher mounted below the  
front of the co-pilot's seat.

I have an extinguisher in my plane, but did not appreciate it's  
importance till now.
It's located under the rear seat on the co-pilot side - not very  
convenient if I'm
rushing to exit the plane.  Anyone have theirs in a better location?   
Is there one
small enough to fit in the outside strake cubby hole?
