I also have to say I love night and twilight flying. Smoother air, 
cooler, less haze... A good 25% of my time is at night, and I have no 
qualms about flying a well maintained plane in night VFR..

But I also know that Kathy is referring to mountains.. Not something I 
have any appreciable experience with. My only mountain experience was 
about 5-6 hours in and around the Wasatch near SLC, all of it during the 
day.
