Also, is it difficult finding the duct from the outside?

Yes I ran fresh air into the tube from the right front naca scoop. The
air exit overboard from the bottom fuselage at the rear,I blocked off
the duct that open into the engine compartment.

My other to do is get more oil cooling. High oil temps are creating a
second problem with a lot of heat getting in the cabin from the duct
where the lines run. Has anyone ventilated the duct? Does it help?
What kind of an opening did you use?
