REFLECTOR: Fuel shutoff valve location

Dave,

I mounted mine under the gear bow by the firewall. I have a push pull cable
mounted in the panel for actuation.

Putting the fuel shutoff in the front might have unintended consequences.
With enough pitch up angle you could get the fuel shutoff above the fuel
ports in the tank. Not desirable in a gravity fed system. True, the fuel
pump may pull it through. just a thought.

FWIW,

Andy

Subject: REFLECTOR: Fuel shutoff valve location

Where have people put their fuel shutoff valve? It seems stupid to put it
where it can be reached. Thus, I am currently planning on running the fuel
line from the sump, up the center spine and putting the valve in a location
I can reach and then running a line back around the sump and to the firewall
fitting. Thoughts??
