REFLECTOR: Fuel shutoff valve location

I put a 90 degree pull, ball valve near the exit from the sump. It is
operated by a push/pull cable that runs in the left side wiring duct and
knob end mounts to the pilot seat frame for easy access. My philosophy is
minimum run of fuel line in the cabin, and, perhaps more importantly,
minimum restriction of flow before the pump to minimize possibility of vapor
lock.

Subject: REFLECTOR: Fuel shutoff valve location

Where have people put their fuel shutoff valve? It seems stupid to put it
where it can be reached. Thus, I am currently planning on running the fuel
line from the sump, up the center spine and putting the valve in a location
I can reach and then running a line back around the sump and to the firewall
fitting. Thoughts??
