Here's the dimensions of my fuel caps now: 

width at the surface 2-3/4"

O-ring ID 2-1/4"

Inner cap dimension 1-7/8" except for the "locking ears" 

Ears 2-1/8" total across 1-1/8" wide

total cap 1-1/8" tall

Sealing bevel (wher the O-ring sits) 1/2"

Original cap is resin with "SPRL" on the top. 

I'd like metal locking if they are available. No hurry though. Still working on interior & finish.
