REFLECTOR: AN111 rudder cable bushing

I take it from your suggestion that the cable does not slide on the bushing?
Fastening the bushing tightly to the rudder horn so that it does not 
rotate is an incorrect attachment?

I'm sure you've got this figured out by now, but here's a photo of my
approach. I tapped threads in the rudder horn, and then put a locknut on the
bottom so to screw could be loose to allow rotation.
