Hey Dave,

The picture did not come through. I'm assuming you had attached one. I
would love to see it.

I have only flown the prop a few times and found it no better or worse then
my MT. For the money the Vesta is a much stronger prop all the way around.
The innards are way better in construction from the get go. The blades are
much stronger and the L.E. is more resistant to FOD. As you can see from
the picture I have a hyd. pitch control. The electric I think would be
better because of BATA but for swapping out I'm staying with the Hyd. I only
have a couple of hours on this prop because I sent it back at their request
and I have to put it back on. After the test flight for the Condition
inspection I plan on putting the Vesta back on. The MT needs painting
anyway. By the way the Vesta only cost me $6100 in a wooden crate to my
hangar. Could be a little more now. I'm not sure. By the way they are U.S.
built.

Dave,

I remember when you first got it and was hoping for updates.

How has the prop worked so far?Have you had any problems?

Does it stand up to FOD very well?

Do you have the electric pitch adjust? If so, how has that worked?

How many hours do you have on it now?

Sounds like your experience with Vesta has been a good one, is that true?

Inquiring minds want to know!!

Lawrence I don't know how long you have been on the site but about a year
ago I brought it everyone at that time there was another prop builder
available. Check out this site. http://www.vestav8.com/Propellers.htm I
will include a picture of it on my plane. I just got it back from a free
update they gave me and paid the shipping as well. I will be flying it
again soon and I'll let you know how it goes. I have a cast on my left hand
right now so flying has been put on the back burner for a short while.

By-and-large, there has been no other practical, constant speed option until
the Aero Composite prop hit the market.

Andy- The IVO has also been available and used by many (although I'm not
sure if it is available for the XL sized engines).
