REFLECTOR: Fw: Fuel Filters

I've got a glass filter between the sump and the electric fuel pump and was
surprised to see an accumulation of gunk after the first 20 hours of flying
time. The gunk looked liked fiberglass dust. I figured the gunk would stay
at the bottom of the sump, but it didn't. I think I'll look into one of
those filters with the built-in bypass. In the meantime, I'm keeping an eye
on that glass filter. I'm actually more worried about it clogging up than I
am about the fiberglass dust getting into the engine.
