REFLECTOR: ICON

Speaking of Icon- not sure how many were at Oshkosh this year- but they had
a very (very) big-dollar tent/display up there- it is sort of a nice
aircraft I guess,- amphibious, folding wings- nice fit and finish but it is
still a low performance aircraft- and it is expensive- but they had an
Eclipse-like tent going on with all sort of video screens,  scantly clad
models running around, ect- not sure how they plan to cover that nut by
selling those aircraft-  seemed like a bunch of young dot-com millionaire
types that own the company- I wish then good luck and all of that, I just
couldn't wrap my brain around their business plan or source funding..

It was 9pm cst, and it was cool. Some segments way better than others.  

 

Bad segment is the ICON guy trying to sell to people because cockpit looks
like a car layout so it's easy to fly, and what great fun to fly with your
buddies low to the ground with the windows open, in a closed canopy
airplane, that goes 120 mph for 300 miles !

 

I didn't know the Viper was at a $400k price point - wonder what Renee will
say about that.

 

Flying manta ray and jellyfish pretty cool.

 

Great explosion from the RRL.

        Grainger sent an email saying RRL is on DSC tonite 10pm - I didn't
see what time zone. 

 

        Then I thought, must be a lot of Reflector traffic on this, looked
at my email, and see NO reflector traffic for a while.  So this message is
